About Me

Aimee Davis was born on February 22, 1988 (Pisces) in a little town in west-central Pennsylvania called Dubois, which is just outside Punxsutawney (the place with the weather-forecasting groundhog). Her family moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia when she was about 9 months old, and she still calls the suburbs home.

Growing up, she loved school and reading and all things magic. Her bedroom was always covered in posters of unicorns and dolphins, and her dream was to become an author. To make that dream come alive, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she majored in English and minored in creative writing.

Her first book, The Wheel Mages, launched in late 2016. Her sequel, The Blood Mage, will hit the digital stores July 18, 2017.

Psst… are we past all the boring author-y stuff now? Can I come out and stop talking about myself in the third person? Yes? Okay, great.

Hey y’all. So apparently I’m supposed to be professional and write my bio in the third person, so I did that, but I wanted to take a quick second to tell anyone who has dropped by that I’m (please don’t side-eye me) an indie author, so I maintain this website and well… everything else if I’m honest, by myself. It can get kind of hectic, but the good news is that if you want to connect with me, you’re going to actually get me on the other side of things. And I LOVE connecting with people, so please feel free to comment on this post or shoot me an email or hit me up on any of the social media on this site. I’m actually just now noticing I don’t have an Insta link listed here, which I hope to rectify presently, but if I can’t figure it out (I mentioned in the bio I was an English major, correct?), my handle on IG is the same as Twitter @writingwaimee.

Look forward to hearing from you!

❤ Aimee

  1. Great to connect with you Aimee. I look forward to following you on social media and your blog. The author/reader community is an excellent one, and I am always delighted by meeting others who call that same group home 🙂
